We are very blessed to be able to offer Jamia Al Maarif Religious Advice Service through our Imam Muhammad Amir Karim. (Also Imam at Cambridge Mosque). Women advisors also available for female 1-1 guidance.
This service offers the opportunity for individuals from all backgrounds to seek Spiritual guidance and advice according to Ahle sunnah wal jama’ah.
Counselling | Emotional Support
Jamia Al Maarif are lucky to have qualified therapists on board, enabling us the opportunity to provide support services to improve the emotional wellbeing, Islamic and spiritual growth of any individual.
Those in need for an attentive ear may receive 1-1 counselling where strategies will be explained on how to overcome any emotional challenges, or any trauma they may have faced such a marriage issues, isolation, bereavement, separation and abuse etc.
For individuals suffering from mental health difficulties such depression and anxiety, therapy sessions are available by our qualified therapists.
Many beneficiaries at Jamia Al Maarif have successfully been able to come to acceptance with the past and confidently move forward more positively in life through Spiritual meditation and guidance.
We hold a strong ethos in finding inner peace through Dhikr (Remembrance of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) as stated in the Qur’an Verily, in the Remembrance of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) do hearts find rest (13:28).

Community Integration
Jamia Al Maarif has an emphasis of unity and inclusion. We are a large family of volunteers, teachers and mentors who are always ready with a listening ear.
If you would like to join our community and partake in our events/ online social gatherings, please register your name on our broadcast for regular updates.
Our mentoring programmes offer 1-1 support for new Muslims and youth who wish to develop in their Islamic learning and be part of our community. The programme also includes a friendship scheme where those enrolled may be matched with other individuals who share common grounds such a language or interests.
